One of the greatest leg-spinners in the shortest format of the game, Adam Zampa and former England swashbuckling batsman Kevin Pietersen was enjoying their time in India. Taking to his Instagram handle Pietersen shared a picture with Zampa where the two cricketers are seen having breakfast at the JW Marriot Hotel in Pune.

Both of them have been busy with their respective duties. While Zampa is with his IPL franchise Rising Pune Supergiant, Pietersen is enjoying his time at the extra innings studio and the commentary box. Both Pietersen and Zampa have been in the headlines for the off-field deeds at some part of the tournament.

A few days earlier Zampa and his partner were seen exchanging some Hindi explicit on their Instagram handle unknowingly. They were perhaps totally unaware of this fact as someone had told these slangs to fool them. Earlier in the tournament, Pietersen had a funny little banter with MS Dhoni. Sitting in the commentary box, Pietersen jokingly asked Manoj Tiwary to say to Dhoni that Pietersen was better golf player than Dhoni to which Mahi replied in the wittiest manner. He said that KP is still his first test wicket.

Meanwhile, Zampa hasn’t got enough chances in this tournament so far as it has been the case with his Australian captain Steve Smith. He hasn’t used him well and despite being the best leg spinner in the T20 format he finds himself warming the benches for the majority of the tournament, South African leggie Imran Tahir has been preferred ahead of him.

In the previous year, he was the most productive bowler for RPS as MS Dhoni made full use of his amazing abilities. He made headlines with his exceptional spell of 6/19 previous year and bagged 12 wickets in the 5 matches he played. This year he has played only a couple of matches and has bagged two wickets at a high economy of 10 runs per over.
