Kevin Pietersen quite often finds himself being the candidate for headlines despite not featuring for his nation in international cricket. Pietersen played his last international match in January 2014, before being axed from the England squad.

Since then, he used to feature in different leagues all around the globe in the likes of Indian Premier League (IPL), Big Bash League (BBL), Carribean Premier League (CPL), Pakistan Super League (PSL) and so on. During the off-season, he engages himself in playing golf and commentating for cricket matches, as he is currently doing in the ongoing Test series between Australia and South Africa.

The Twitter banter with Piers Morgan started when Morgan tweeted about the former England football international and pundit Gary Lineker’s views on Arsene Wenger. “if Arsenal fans agree with @GaryLineker that Wenger’s still a winner, I respect that. He’s not, as we’ll discover yet again in May,” he wrote in his Twitter handle.

This produced a lot of buzz all around and there were a lot of reactions from the Twitterati. One of the fans even trolled Morgan for not having a job.

Piers Morgan was quick to respond as he pointed out that he has 5 jobs currently.

And the banter became more interesting when Kevin Pietersen joined the banter. On a lighter note, Pietersen pointed out that he has actually 7 jobs. “You actually have 7 jobs… 6. Be Trump’s PR agent 7. My PR agent,” wrote Pietersen on his Twitter handle.

This didn’t hold Morgan back from replying as he wrote:

And guess what, it didn’t end there.

Then Morgan pointed out that Petersen can’t even get to the England side which just lost a Test match against India at Vizag by 246 runs.

But Petersen, as we all know is always on the front foot against the bouncers.
