Kevin Pietersen, the dynamic English batsman, is currently working in the Indian Premier League as the commentator alongside other elite commentators has impressed the viewers in his new role. The English batsman was playing for the Rising Pune Supergiant as recent as the ninth edition of the tournament before being stretchered off with an injury which ruled him out of the entire tournament.

The English batsman is active on the micro-blogging site Twitter with his recent duel with Sunrisers Hyderabad’s all-rounder Yuvraj Singh after the former wore yellow socks to the studio during the tournament.

Earlier in the day, Kevin Pietersen had tweeted that it was his last commentary stint for a few weeks and he enjoyed his stint here in India. He further went on to thank his fellow commentators and the production team for their excellent work done throughout the tournament thus far.

The English batsman is on a single entry Visa which essentially means that he will not be allowed to enter India with the same visa once he wants to return from England. Several Twitter users further informed him of approaching help from India’s Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) regarding his visa.

He had a bitter experience before in the year 2014 when his passport was submitted to the Indian High Commission (HCI) in London for a 24-hour Visa service which was delayed by a span of 10 days without receiving any information from the HCI.

He has been a regular traveller to India with his past stints with Delhi Daredevils, Rising Pune Supergiant, Royal Challengers Bangalore and the Deccan Chargers in the IPL. It is surprising that he still faces such issues with his visa in the country. It is highly likely that his issues will be resolved by the Indian government in the next few days and will return as the commentator during the next phase of the tournament
