They followed it with a comfortable 8-wicket win over Lancashire Thunder on the following day. They will now host Southern Vipers on Monday at the Kennington Oval.

The Vipers began with a convincing 34-run win over Lancashire in the first match of this season. They did struggle during a last-over thriller against Loughborough Lightning but got home with two wickets in hand. They suffered their first loss of the tournament on Sunday. Western Storm got better of the Vipers while chasing a target of 143 despite losing wickets in a flurry in the last two overs.
