The Popular TV series F.R.I.E.N.D.S has hogged all the limelight on social media. The superhit American sitcom from the late 90s boasts of having a huge fan following among the younger generation. The main cast of the popular American TV show got together one last time for an unscripted special episode titled F.R.I.E.N.D.S: The Reunion.

The F.R.I.E.D.D.S Reunion kept the social media engaged on Thursday, May 27. The cricket fraternity was also an active part of the trend on social media as many current and former cricketers took to their official handles to post throwback photos of their pertinent ‘reunions’.

Meanwhile the former Indian cricketer Vinod Kambli had a different perspective on the highly-anticipated F.R.I.E.N.D.S Reunion. The 49-year-old hilariously trolled the much-talked-about episode with a picture of former Indian captain Sachin Tendulkar. Kambli, who represented India in 17 Test matches and 104 One Day Internationals, posted two pictures with the former Indian skipper.

While one picture was from their playing days, the second photo was a relatively new selfie of the two superstars of yesteryears. It was the caption that stole all the thunder as Kambli gave a glimpse of his witty side by trolling the F.R.I.E.N.D.S fans.

“Kids have Reunion. Legends stay together forever!” the 49-year-old tweeted.

Saeed Ajmal recalls a conversation with Tendulkar

A few days back former Indian cricketer Sachin Tendulkar was all over the news as veteran Pakistani cricketer Saeed Ajmal recalled an interaction with the batting maestro from a charity face-off match between the Rest of the World XI against MCC XI played at Lord’s Cricket Ground, London.

The match featured a lot of big names as the cricketers were celebrating 200 years of the iconic ground. Since it was a charity match it was supposed to be played for a longer time so that more funds can be collected. However, Ajmal came with a different mood as he scalped four wickets in his four overs.

Seeing the assaults of Ajmal, Sachin walked up to him to tell him to play the match as a friendly encounter. “The match started, I picked up four wickets in four overs. So, Sachin Tendulkar came running to me and he said, ‘Saeed Bhai, you are not supposed to play this match too seriously. This is a charity match. This is for the people who have come here to enjoy, they will have food, drinks. This match has to not get over before 6:30’,” Ajmal revealed.
