It is not everyday that someone like KL Rahul lashes out at an irate fan on twitter. Perhaps, this is also his first time that he has had to do this and quash the aghast in such a manner. With a bevy of Test matches under his belt, 24-year old Rahul has been quite inconsistent of late with the bat. Of course, sometimes these centuries come and go, but the fact of the matter is that he cannot do it on a consistent basis, something that usually questions his selection in the side.

However, after Ravichandran Ashwin, perhaps a master troller on Twitter began following him, it was quite clear that he was happy about the same.

Rahul smashed an impressive 64 in the first innings of the Pune Test match against Australia, an innings he will certainly not forget for a long time. However, the diabolical nature of the wicket prevailed as the Indians were handed a massive 333-run defeat.

An original tweet from KL Rahul initially read: “Oh my my.. what a start to the day got the legend @ashwinravi99 to follow me. #humbled #blessed.”

However, an irate fan, possibly angered by the first Test loss went ahead and tweeted: ” ye sab chhodo .. runs kaise bane uspe dhyan de ..”

However, instead of losing his temper, Rahul dealt with the situation in perhaps the most gentlemanly of manners. His follow up tweet read: “Plz come and teach us bhai. Im sure aapko pata hain kaise banate hain runs.”

Needless to say, this was indeed praised by one and all with many a lesson to take away from it, including KL Rahul’s use of the Hindi language not many associate him with.
