Largely known as the game of gentlemen, cricket often fails to be gentle on players’ minds and health. From having hectic schedules to strenuous training sessions and workout routines, all of it sometimes take a toll over the player’s body. Keeping in mind all this, there is always room for leisure activity and recreation.

If the body isn’t at peace with the mind, the results start to appear in the game, and a player starts to lose form and rhythm. When cricketers move out of the field, they spot the activities that give them an ultimate sense of pleasure to enjoy.

Reading, swimming, playing video games, photography, music, and other indoor games are some of the favorite picks of cricketers when it boils down to relaxation.

1. MS Dhoni

Sadly a former Indian cricketer now, MS Dhoni was class apart whenever he entered the field with the Men in Blue. Perfection was his other name when it came to captaincy and wicket-keeping skills. Apart from being a star on the field, captain cool is in a serious relationship with his PSP.

So, wherever Mahi travels, he never forgets to take his PSP along, and in all the free time he gets, he indulges into the same thing. It has also been reported that no other cricketer from the team was able to match shoulders with CSK skipper when it came to playing PSP.

The world is well aware of what finesse and skills this gem of a batsman possess. Also, what keeps him going in a match with full vigor is his aggression and commitment towards the game. One can never find Kohli being lazy or dizzy on the field and reasons are quite obvious, his pro-level fitness.

Well, even when the gem is not playing, he indulges in an equally exhausting session that is work-out or gym sessions. Yes, King Kohli spends the maximum portion of his day doing strenuous workouts to maintain those muscles and fabulous physique. Our very own Master Blaster, Sachin Tendulkar, aced batting like a legend every time he stepped on the field. Well, when he is not playing on the field, he finds peace in playing table tennis. Yes, you got that right; he can go playing table tennis for several hours in a row.

The Little Master has been vocal about his table tennis habit quite a few times. He even remembers growing while playing this indoor game often. He also enjoys listening to music and loves to taste different cuisines of the world. Well, he has definitely got a rich taste.

4. Brett Lee

The Australian speedster, Brett Lee, is known for his world-class bowling and his stylish hair. Even for great batsmen, his bowling was a hard nut to crack. Can one ever believe that apart from being a superb bowler, he can possess another equally amazing talent? Lee is a great musician; he has written several songs and performed them with his guitar.

When Lee played in India, he admired singing sensation Asha Bhosle and later reached out to her to learn some classical music. The pacer has the credit of working with Asha Bhosle, where he spent his time singing with her.

5. Rohit Sharma

India have always relied on the star opener when it comes to playing some extraordinary shots. Famous for his pull, the opener has earned himself a great name in the table of best batsmen around the world. He is being seen on the field with a charming smile and yet never misses to attack the opponents. Well, when the batsman is not on the field, he finds pleasure in traveling and gardening.

Sharma has been quite active in posting his traveling photos on Instagram with his lovely wife Ritika and cutie daughter Samaira. He says, he finds peace when he is close to nature, and that is why the opener spends some time in gardening too.
