'Kulcha is back again' - Kuldeep Yadav is excited to play alongside Yuzvendra Chahal against West Indies

Team India is currently involved in a two-match Test series against Bangladesh. After the commencement of the series against Tigers, Virat Kohli and Co. will host West Indies for playing three T20Is and ODIs. On, Thursday, BCCI announced the squad that will play against the Caribbean team and surprisingly Kuldeep Yadav, the chinaman spinner has been picked by the selectors. In order to share his excitement, he came up with a post on social media.

The young Indian spinner finally makes his way back into the T20I squad after a span of nine months. He played his last game in the shorter format against New Zealand in February. And, this is a big chance for him to prove his worth and file his contention in the squad for the upcoming T20 World Cup.

Kuldeep Yadav’s return into the T20 format also means that he will reunite with his fellow mate Yuzvendra Chahal. Now, the Indian fans will also get to watch the famous duo termed as ‘Kulcha’ performing together in the same game. The Uttar Pradesh-born spinner couldn’t hold his joy and shared a picture for his fans with a caption, “Back again @yuzi_chahal #kulcha”

Kuldeep has been struggling with a patchy form for long. He was also the part of Team India that went onto play 2019 World Cup hosted by England. In the mega-event, he couldn’t impress his fans with his bowling. In eight games he scalped only six wickets which doesn’t define his caliber. However, this will be a great opportunity for him to reserve his spot in the team.

He has donned Indian jersey in 6 Tests, 53 ODIs and 18 T20Is and has managed to grab more than 100 wickets across all the formats. The campaign of Virat Kohli and Co. will begin their campaign against West Indies with a T20I series that is scheduled to get kicked off from the 6th of December at Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai.

The selectors have also awarded Deepak Chahar and Shivam Dube with the spots in ODI and T20I squads for their brilliant performance against Bangladesh. But, one shocking exclusion that attracted everyone’s sight was of Sanju Samson, who has been excluded from the team without playing a single game.
