India (IND) will face Pakistan (PAK) in the sixth match of the Asia Cup 2025 on Sunday, September 14, at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium. It will be the second game of the tournament for both teams. India and Pakistan have faced each other in 13 T20I matches so far, and India has won nine of them. In the T20I format, India has won two out of three matches against Pakistan in the Asia Cup.
India faced the UAE in their first game and elected to bowl after winning the toss. Kuldeep Yadav took four wickets for seven runs, while Shivam Dube picked three wickets for four runs. The UAE were bundled out for 57 runs. The Indian batter took just 4.3 overs to reach the target of 58 runs and won the match by nine wickets. Kuldeep won the Player of the Match award for his bowling performance.
Pakistan took on Oman in their first match and elected to bat after winning the toss. Mohammad Haris (66 off 43) helped Pakistan post a total of 160 runs for the loss of seven wickets in 20 overs. In reply, Oman were bundled out for 67 runs and Pakistan won the match by 93 runs. Saim Ayub, Sufiyan Muqeem and Faheem Ashraf took two wickets each.
