Preview
India will look to seal the five-match T20I series when they take on New Zealand in the fifth and final T20I at Seddon Park in Hamilton on Sunday, November 1. The visitors lead the series 3-1 after winning the first three matches, while New Zealand bounced back with a victory in the fourth game to keep themselves from suffering a whitewash.
India had dominated the opening three matches, chasing down targets successfully in each game. Abhishek Sharma was among the standout performers, smashing a remarkable century in the third T20I. However, the visitors will be keen to regroup after their setback in Auckland and finish the series with another win.
Meanwhile, New Zealand will take confidence from their fourth T20I victory. The hosts will aim to carry that momentum into the final fixture and make it two wins in a row.
