Preview
The fifth match of the Pakistan ODI Tri-Series 2026 will be contested between Pakistan and Sri Lanka at the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore on Tuesday, October 27. The match carries heightened stakes after the previous results.
Pakistan have sealed their place in the final of the series after their nervy one-wicket victory extended their 100 per cent record to three wins from three. Chasing a total of 242, Pakistan found themselves wobbling and almost out of the contest at 154 for 9. Shadab Khan, supported by Haris Rauf, stitched a partnership of 89 runs, the highest tenth-wicket partnership in a successful chase. Shadab's maiden ODI century guided the hosts home to a fabulous victory.
Sri Lanka will be playing their first match since their record chase of 430 against the England side in Rawalpindi. A collaborative batting effort saw the Lankan Lions upend a mammoth total despite a record-breaking double century from Harry Brook. A victory could see them seal a spot in the finals, while a loss would have them battle out their final spot with England.
