Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) will face Punjab Kings (PBKS) in the final of the Indian Premier League 2025 on Tuesday, June 3, at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. It will be the rematch of the first qualifier, which RCB won after chasing down the mere target of 102 runs in just 10 overs.

PBKS faced Mumbai Indians in the eliminator game and elected to bowl after winning the toss. MI scored 203 runs for the loss of six wickets with the help of a knock of 44 runs from Tilak Varma and Suryakumar Yadav, respectively. Azmatullah Omarzai was the pick of the bowlers and took two wickets for 43 runs in four overs. Shreyas Iyer led the charge with the bat for PBKS and remained unbeaten on 87 runs off 41 deliveries. PBKS won the match by five wickets in 19 overs.

RCB has reached the final for the fourth time, while PBKS will feature in the final for the first time since 2014. RCB and PBKS have faced each other 36 times in the IPL so far, and both teams have won 18 matches each. RCB has won four out of the last five games against PBKS. It will be the second time that both teams will meet each other at the Narendra Modi Stadium.
