Welsh Fire (WEF) will face Manchester Originals (MNR) in the 12th match of The Hundred 2025 on Wednesday, August 13, at the Sophia Gardens in Cardiff. Welsh Fire have lost both their matches so far and are in seventh position. Manchester Originals have won one out of three games and are in sixth place.

Welsh Fire took on London Spirit in their last game and elected to bowl after winning the toss. London Spirit made 163 runs for the loss of five wickets. Josh Hull was the pick of the bowlers for the Welsh Fire and took two wickets for 36 runs. Jonny Bairstow remained unbeaten on 86 runs off 50 deliveries for the Welsh Fire. However, the team failed to chase down the target and lost the match by eight runs.

Manchester Originals won their first game of the season in their previous outing against the London Spirit. Manchester Originals scored 163 runs for the loss of six wickets. Jos Buttler was the highest scorer for the team and made 46 runs off 37 deliveries. London Spirit made 153 runs for the loss of six wickets, and Manchester Originals won by 10 runs. Josh Tongue was the most successful bowler for the Manchester Originals and took three wickets for 29 runs.
