Look who is wishing a speedy recovery for Mohammed Shami

Veteran Indian pace bowler Mohammed Shami is going through a very tough time in his personal life. Recently, the things worsened for him when he met with an accident. Shami sustained minor injuries in a road mishap when he was traveling from Dehradun to New Delhi. The cricket fraternity has been sending out their good wishes and ‘get well soon’ messages for him. Among the many sending the good regards is Rohit Sharma.

Rohit Sharma and Mohammed Shami are known to be good friends. Rohit took to micro-blogging site Twitter to wish a speedy recovery for Shami. In his tweet, he hoped that the pace bowlers gets fit again soon and get back on the playing field. He also cited that the Bengal pacer has been going through a lot in the recent times.

Rohit Sharma, in his tweet, referred to the tough times that Shami is going through in his life. With this, he referred to the personal issues that the pace bowler has been facing. Currently, Shami has several bailable and non-bailable charges of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) imposed against him. All of this were charged by the Kolkata Police after his wife, Hasin Jahan, lodged official complaints.

Hasin Jahan alleged that Shami was guilty of rape, extra-marital affairs, cheating, and even match fixing. She had remarked that the Indian cricketer was taking money from other women. This had opened up a probe by the BCCI in the entire scene. Amidst the brouhaha, the BCCI withheld the central contract of David Warner as well. However, the BCCI ACU investigations found Shami to be not guilty of any corruption charges.

Hence, the cricketer recently received a Grade B contract from the powerful cricket board.
