KL Rahul, the Indian batsman, doesn’t have any cricket to play for the time being. It’s because the coronavirus pandemic has taken the world by storm. More so in India as the country is third in the list of most affected nations after Brazil and the United States of America (USA). He last played for India in the ODI and T20I series against New Zealand back in January and February this year.

There he went on to get scores of 57*, 56, 88* and 112, showing the value he brings to the fore. He was set to play for the Kings XI Punjab (KXIP) in the 2020 edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL). But the tournament remains postponed for an indefinite time period. Rahul was also appointed as the captain of the franchise after Ravi Ashwin was traded to the Delhi Capitals (DC).

For the last two years, he has been a fulcrum of the Punjab batting unit. Last year, he also notched a century against the Mumbai Indians at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai. Even as India is going through the lockdown phase, Rahul has been spending all his time at home. But he has also ensured that he kept interacting with his fans and supporters through the social media platforms.

Of late, he posted a picture where he can be seen, covering his face with his fans. The 28-year-old captioned the picture and wrote, “Thinking of a caption.”

In the meantime, Manushi Chhillar, the former Miss India, had a hilarious message for Rahul. In her reply, she tagged cricketer Sinan Kader. Then she asked Rahul to get a caption from him. Kader played for Mizoram in the Ranji Trophy last year and is also a talented writer.

She replied to Rahul and wrote, “Ask @sinankader, he’ll write you an entire page.” Kader also responded to Manushi’s post, writing, “hahahaha you love it,”

Back in January 2019, Rahul’s career was all over the place. He was going through poor form and was in and out of the team. Moreover, the controversy with Hardik Pandya in ‘Koffee With Karan’ didn’t help his cause by any means. He was temporarily suspended, but he came back to the national team and even played the 2019 World Cup as well.
