Master-blaster turns Master-chef, hosts barbecue party for friends on New Year's eve

Sachin Tendulkar who entertained the cricket fraternity with his legendary strokes donned a new avatar, that of a chef. The iconic batsman, turned chef on New Year’s eve as he prepared a special barbecue for his friends and family. Tendulkar has always been a foodie and his love for food made him try his hands on cooking, right from his early days.

He is known to be a decent cook and has been acknowledged by all his colleagues. Sachin exceeds expectations in making the best Chicken Curry. For his love towards food, he joined hands with Sanjay Narang and started restaurants in Mumbai. The posh restaurants are named after the legend, himself. Starting with two in Mumbai, Sachin expanded his chain with a new one in Bangalore. These restaurants feature Sachin’s favourite dishes from all over the world.

From Master Blaster to Master Chef

The master-blaster has never failed to impress his fans, however this time it is not cricket. Sachin posted a video clip on Twitter where the Mumbaikar is seen cooking a special dish for his friends. Wishing everyone a happy new year, the former cricketer said, “This is New Year’s special barbecue, and it smells rather delicious. As the time goes by it is going to get better and better.”

The Maestro also added, “It was a pleasure to cook for my friends on New Year’s Eve. I am glad all of them enjoyed and are still licking their fingers. Hope you all had a great New Year’s Eve as well. Wishing you all a fantastic 2018. Stay blessed always,” in the caption.

Sachin also makes delicious Baigan Bharta, Prawn Masala, Fish and Crab recipes. The Indian team has had the luck to taste Master’s delicacies, quite a number of times. He cooks often for his family and had stated that he learned these dishes from his mother.

Tendulkar seems to have a great New Year, he was seen partying with his former teammates, Yuvraj Singh and Ajit Agarkar.
