Trolls have become a common phenomenon, especially in the social media platforms. Several cricketers and other eminent personalities have faced the wrath of the public forums. Be it regarding uploading a picture or sharing an opinion, people turn no stone unturned in bashing the personalities. However, some of the celebrities turn up with befitting replies and stand tall to critics.

Mayanti Langer, the spouse of Stuart Binny, once was pelted with criticisms following Binny’s poor show in a T20 International against the Windies back in August 2016. Binny was smacked for 32 runs in an over by Evin Lewis, which included five humungous blows over the ropes. The abysmal over raged the people and they vented their anger on Mayanti.

While some suggested divorce for Langer, some called her the biggest frustration of being the husband of Stuart Binny. Some of them even went to the extent of delivering her death threats and suggested her to commit suicide. However, she replied them appropriately. The popular and gorgeous sports broadcaster recently opened up on the incident in a recent interview with T2 Online.

“You have to take that in your stride. I responded in that way because the trolls were vicious. I didn’t like the fact that his parents were being threatened. I didn’t appreciate people saying “we know where your parents live” or “we know where Mayanti lives”. That’s a threat. I had asked them not to mock me with things such as suicide or divorce. Make fun of me, that’s fine. But don’t do things like that” Mayanti said.
