Megan Schutt produces a lethal in-swinger to shatter the timber

Megan Schutt is one of the prolific wicket-takers for Australia in international cricket. In 108 matches at the highest level, she has 151 wickets with six four-wicket hauls. Her Test and ODI average are in the early 20s even as her T20I bowling average is 15.46. The 26-year-old has been successful both with the new and the old leather, which shows his sheer class in the sport.

She last played international cricket last month against the England Women and was amongst the wickets in most of the games. Recently, the South Australia-born showed his ability to move the ball sharply. Schutt was a part of a practice match where she was the captain of the Statewide Super SA Scorpions. It was a game played ahead of the Women’s National Cricket League (WNCL).

The bowler charged in and bowled the delivery, which started from way outside the off-stump. Seeing the ball coming, the batswoman felt that it would miss the stumps and hence, decided to leave it alone. However, she was in for the biggest surprise of her life. The leather generated prodigious swing in the air, which caught her napping. The ball shaped quite a bit and also moved off the track.

Subsequently, the leather crashed into the middle-stump. The batter looked behind and was filled with sheer disappointment and surprise. She looked up for a while after which her head went down, comprehending what had happened. She had no option, but to walk away from the pitch.

On the other hand, Schutt was over the moon after producing the absolute corker to get the wicket. The non-striker was also left in absolute shock. In the meantime, Schutt’s teammates were ecstatic and ran up to her to congratulate her on the masterful display of bowling. Schutt will now be looking to replicate the same in the upcoming international matches she will be a part of.
