Mohammad Kaif finally meets Irfan Pathan at his wedding reception

Irfan Pathan recently hosted his wedding reception at Vadodara and invited close to 2000 guests at the special function. But, there was one guest whose arrival most of the people were waiting for – Mohammad Kaif.

Irfan Pathan married Jeddah-based Safa Baig last month in a secret ceremony attended by only his family members.

Pathan broke the special news after he tweeted a picture with wife on Twitter thanking everyone for their blessings.

“Entering probably the most beautiful phase of my life. We both wish to thank everyone for your wishes & #blessings,” he captioned the picture.

Apparently, Mohammad Kaif wasn’t aware of his friend’s wedding and realized only after seeing the tweet. Kaif did not hold back and responded to Irfan’s tweet.

Irfan also quickly replied to his tweet and said, “Bhai mere phone uthaoge to pata chalega Na.”

Kaif replied , “@IrfanPathan jaldi milte hai bhai with families.”

Finally, both friends met at the reception as they had decided on the social media site.

Mohammad Kaif made sure that he picked Irfan’s call this time and made it to the reception.

Irfan Pathan and Mohammad Kaif’s friendship goes back to the early 2000’s when the two cricketers played in the Indian team under Sourav Ganguly. Both cricketers were at their prime when they played together but soon lost their places. Mohammad Kaif played his last Test in 2006 whereas Irfan Pathan last played for India in 2012.
