Former Indian batsman and legendary fielder of sorts Mohammad Kaif made his presence felt on twitter following what was almost an hour-long and exhaustive Twitter session. While there were indeed a plethora of questions in the ‘Ask Me Anything’ using the hashtag, it was quite clear that the spotlight was well and truly on the former Indian cricketer.

Having begun his career at a time when it was an impossible task to get into the Indian side, Kaif was roped in virtue of his captaincy of the U19 team, something that certainly held him in high regard as he was also the World Cup winning captain.

Along with his compatriot Yuvraj Singh, Kaif has seen the ups and downs of cricket, including having his most favorite Pakistani bowler bowling to him in the form of Wasim Akram. When asked about who his fielding influences were, pat came the answer that it was Jonty Rhodes.

While Rhodes set a benchmark for fielders across the globe, it was Kaif who set the benchmark for the Indian fielders, proving that they could also build their infrastructures to help them dive along the ground and stop the ball.

He added that the likes of Ravindra Jadeja are proving to be amazing fielders whilst adding a few tweets of praise for Virat Kohli and AB de Villiers.
