Former Indian cricketer Mohammad Kaif is one among the highly active cricket professionals on the social media. He is very vocal about is opinions and is never shy of sharing his thoughts with his fans. Time and again, he has taken to the micro blogging site Twitter to express his thoughts on the trending issues.

Also, he has often been seen supporting his fellow cricketers whenever they have been targeted or mocked on the social media for various reasons. Well, Mohammad Kaif has not always found pleasant replies come his way though. Some fans and critics have questioned his thoughts and claims on various topics. Recently, it was a similar case that was seen on Twitter.

Kaif posted an update wherein he welcomed the move of the Supreme Court of calling the ‘Triple Talaq’ as unconstitutional. Kaif looked happy with the verdict made by the apex court of India. He lauded the decision and noted that the decision will help make the Islamic women feel more secure now.

Mohammad Kaif tweeted, “Welcome decision by Supreme Court to declare #TripleTalaq unconstitutional. Will give Muslim women security. Gender justice is much needed.”

Little did he know that he will be targeted on the social media for his opinions. Some people mocked him by asking him not to comment on issues about which he is not aware of. There were others who pointed out that women are most secure in Islam and hence questioned the words of the former cricketer. In all fairness, it will be prudent to let the opinions of a person stay the way they are.

Mocking them, or condemning them is nowhere close to arriving at a solution to any conflict. This is not the first time when Mohammad Kaif has faced the heat of the critics on the social media. He was highly condemned by a few religious people for sharing pictures of Surya Namaskar on Twitter. He was also slammed by the fans for having supported Mohammad Shami over sharing a picture of his wife.
