As we move ever so close to the release of the blockbuster, the producers of the movie have gone on to release the third poster. The Biopic which is expected to smash box office records also happens to be the first of its kind by virtue of the fact that it is tracing the path of a cricketer before he has completed his playing career.

Sushant Singh Rajput plays the role of MS Dhoni in the film and traces his path as an employee of the Indian Railways right through to becoming the captain of the Indian cricket team. Dhoni, in real life, also seems to have clung on to his humility as a human being and as a person despite his status in sports as well as his annual prize money and endorsement margins.

The 35-year old Indian skipper is on his way to the United States of America along with T20I teammate Jasprit Bumrah to play a bevy of two T20 internationals in Lauderhill, Florida. The series is set to be the first officially sanctioned ICC event in the United States since the Indians played Pakistan in the Freedom Trophy in 1997 in Canada.

Earlier, reports from various sources had gone on to suggest that the incumbent Indian skipper had pocketed in the region of Rs. 60 to Rs. 80 Crores on just the film rights to the movie. Although this is a first in the movie industry, that someone connected to the film is being paid as much, it is clear that it would be worth it as this is perhaps the first time that fans get to delve into the personal life of MS Dhoni. The film, quite aptly, consummates at the Wankhede Stadium which hosts the final of the 2011 edition of the World Cup against Sri Lanka.
