Former Indian skipper MS Dhoni never ceases to be in the news. Be it his strong calls on the field or his bold steps outside the field of play, Dhoni is a crowd favorite cricketer. He had recently stepped down as the limited overs skipper of the Indian cricket team ahead of the England series. His move had startled most of the cricket pundits. There were many who lauded his decision and called it a timely one. Whether the decision was good or not, remains to be a subjective debate.

The point of the matter remains that MS Dhoni has managed to leave a legacy behind him that will be very hard for his successors to match. Dhoni led India in a record 331 international matches – the most by any international captain in world cricket history. This is the reason why the Cricket Association of Bengal (CAB) has decided to felicitate MS Dhoni during the third and the final ODI against England at Kolkata.

The CAB President, Sourav Ganguly, has been an ardent fan of Dhoni too. The CAB will acknowledge Dhoni’s contribution to Indian cricket as captain by felicitating him. It was under Dhoni’s leadership that India managed to win all major ICC trophies.

Now, as per the recent reports in India Today, Dhoni will be cheered by his family members and relatives during the Kolkata ODI. Apparently, as per the close sources in CAB, his family will be there to attend the match. Dhoni had asked for a few passes for the match for his close relatives. The kind of form Dhoni is in, it is needless to say that the game at Kolkata promises to be a cracker of a game. MS Dhoni – the player volume 2 has released in full throttle.
