The former Indian skipper MS Dhoni was welcomed with slogans of the former Pakistani cricketer Shahid Afridi during his visit to Kunzer. He was in Jammu & Kashmir as a chief guest for the final of Chinar Cricket Premier League in the Baramulla district. But the actions of the people were surprising given the fact that he is considered as the stalwart of the Indian cricket. However, Dhoni, as usual, dealt with it calmly and didn’t respond to the slogans going about his business.

Kunzer is a Tehsil and the Municipal committee in the Baramulla district in the state of Jammu & Kashmir where the tournament was organised. The local competition received a huge response this time around with as many as 110 teams participated. The organisers, hence, decided to invite Dhoni for the mega final in order to make the event a memorable one in the history of cricket in the district.

Though in a video which is going on viral on Youtube, it could be seen that the fans were waiting eagerly for the Ranchi lad to come and started shouting the slogans like Boom Boom Afridi and Zakir Moosa when he arrived at the venue. The security forces had a job on their hands with the crowd going berserk and looking to get a glimpse of the superstar.
