MS Dhoni lands on the sets of his biopic

India’s limited-overs captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni recently visited the sets of the upcoming biopic “M.S. Dhoni: The Untold Story”.

Veteran actor Anupam Kher, who portrays the role of Dhoni’s father Pan Singh in the film shared a photograph of the cricketer along with on-screen Dhoni, actor Sushant Singh Rajput on social networking site Twitter.

Anupam Kher tweeted on Monday night.

Anupam Kher, who was shooting for the biopic in Ranchi, keeps sharing his thoughts and details about his personal and professional life on social media platforms.

Sushant Singh Rajput plays the lead character in the biopic which tells the untold story of MS Dhoni. Dhoni’s close friend and actor John Abraham is also expected to have a short appearance in the movie. Actress Kiara Advani will play the role MS Dhoni’s wife, Sakshi Dhoni. Fawad Ahmed, Ram Charan, and Shreyas Talpade also have important roles in the movie.

The preparations for this movie is in full swing. Recently Sushant Singh Rajput shared an exciting video of him imitating Dhoni’s trademark shots on Facebook. The video went viral and it was surprising to see striking similarities in the appearance and playing style of Sushant Singh Rajput and MS Dhoni.

“M.S. Dhoni: The Untold Story”, which is slated to hit the theaters next year is directed by Neeraj Pandey and produced by Rhiti Sports Management, a company that also manages Dhoni’s commercial interests.
