MS Dhoni shows off his football skills in a practice match with Bollywood stars

MS Dhoni has been in the news ever since he has started playing for India. The former Indian captain has found ways to make his fans talk about him and his new look and hairstyle went viral recently. It was also revealed that the former skipper will be soon seen in a charity football match. 

It seems that the cricketer has decided to make this football match as a part of his practice leading into the Indian Premier League 2021’s second leg, which is all set to begin on September 19. Dhoni was spotted playing football with his friends in Bollywood in Mumbai on Sunday. The CSK captain and legendary cricketer played another charity match in Bandra, Mumbai. 

Dhoni garnered a lot of attention when he arrived at the Bandra Football Ground for the ‘All-Star’ football match. A popular Bollywood paparazzi shared a video clip on Instagram of the cricketer playing football, dribbling through the ground. The match was seen as a warm-up for the charity match played between several popular celebrities in Mumbai. 

MS Dhoni will be soon seen in the IPL 2021’s second leg

Dhoni has been known to be a lover of football as a sport and has been spotted playing it during the Indian team’s practice. In this match, he showed that he has wonderful skills as a footballer. He was seen dribbling the ball wonderfully past some of the Bollywood stars and moving forward towards the goal. Interestingly enough, Indian captain, Virat Kohli had once said that Dhoni was the best footballer among all the Indian cricket team players. 

Ranveer Singh and Arjun Kapoor, the two Bollywood actors have been seen with Dhoni in the past few days. Singh was seen giving a hug to the former India skipper in a warm-up match played between two celebrity teams in Mumbai. In the previous training session organized by Mumbai-based All Stars Football Club, Dhoni was also accompanied by former Delhi Capitals (DC) skipper Shreyas Iyer.

MS Dhoni will be seen in action in the IPL 2021 when it resumes next month in the United Arab Emirates. Dhoni’s team, Chennai Super Kings, was in good form during the first leg of the tournament which was played in India until early May. The second leg will open with a match between CSK and Mumbai Indians on September 19.
