MS Dhoni wins hearts by helping his wife Sakshi wear her new pair of shoes

Affording time off the field was a luxury for MS Dhoni just a few years ago. The former India skipper led the team across formats and rarely got the opportunity to spend time with his family. In fact, he could not even attend the birth of his daughter Ziva in 2015 due to the World Cup in Australia.
“In my case the problem is when she (Ziva) was born I was not there (three years ago), most of the time I was playing cricket, so everything bad somehow is thrown at me (to deal with),” he had once said while admitting that his daughter changed him as a person.
Well, things have changed in the last couple of years or so. Dhoni has been getting ample time to stay away from the hustle and bustle of international cricket and spend quality time with his family. The World Cup-winning skipper does not play Tests anymore after retiring in 2014 and his decision to step down as limited-overs skipper in 2017 has further eased pressure on him.
He has not played international cricket since the ODI series against Windies. The 37-year old was not included in the side for the T20I series against Windies and Australia. And Dhoni has made sure to make the most of the time at his disposal. From attending Bollywood stars Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone’s wedding as well as Isha Ambani’s wedding to enjoying with his daughter, Dhoni is doing it all.

When it comes to humility, Dhoni is well known for it. Despite being the most-decorated skipper in the history of Indian cricket, he has a personality that makes him one of the most popular players in the game. His down to earth nature has helped him make millions of fans. And the wicketkeeper-batsman is set to make some more fans after his wife posted a cute video on Instagram, showing the star player helping his wife wear her new pair of shoes without worrying about public attention.
Sakshi took to Instagram to share a few pictures where Dhoni can be spotted tying her sandal laces.
“You paid for the shoes so you tie them tooo,” Sakshi captioned the post.
Dhoni, meanwhile, is likely to be seen in action again when India takes on Australia in the three-match ODI series after the ongoing Test series.
