Mahendra Singh Dhoni has always been a man who does things out of the box. Be it his cricketing moves on the field, or even his looks, Dhoni always does something different. And more often than not, it is a hit among the fans.

When Dhoni started out, he sporting long locks, and even managed to impress the then Pakistan President Pervez Musharraf with that look. Then came the all-bald look after India’s victory in the 2011 World Cup. Dhoni even tried out the Mohawk look, and even that was a hit amongst the fans.

And now, Dhoni is sporting another new look, and this was unveiled on his birthday. In the photo, Dhoni can be seen sporting a ‘Handlebar’ moustache, and this look has caught the internet by storm. Also, a few days back, the official Twitter handle of the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) had posted a photo of their skipper along with his daughter Ziva Dhoni.

Twitter cannot keep calm about MS Dhoni’s new look

And, Twitter has gone wild after Dhoni’s new look was unveiled.  Several users have taken to the internet to comment on the look of their ‘Thala’.

Several fans have posted the new look of Dhoni, and the handlebar moustache of Dhoni is a raging hit on the internet. While a fan tweeted that Dhoni has opted for the ‘Shikhar Dhawan’ look, another fan opined that Dhoni should not colour his hair when he plays in the Indian Premier League. All in all, the fans have gone gaga looking at Dhoni’s new avatar.

On the cricketing side of things, MS Dhoni was last seen in action in the 14th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL). Even though he could not set the stage alight with the willow, Dhoni’s excellent captaincy ensured that the ‘Yellow Brigade’ were occupying 2nd place in the points table at the time of suspension of the tournament.

MS Dhoni announced his retirement from international cricket on 15th August 2020.
