Bangladesh’s fast bowler Mustafizur Rahman has been sensational ever since his entry into competitive cricket. He has a small wiry frame but can still fox the best in the business with his gentle medium pace bowling. But, there is one thing about him people which is quite unusual considering his physical frame.
The lanky pacer has huge feet and wears a big shoe. It is surprising but Rahman, who stands at a common 5 feet 9 inches tall, wears shoes which are bigger than his skipper Mashrafe Mortaza. Not only this, the 20-year old pacer used to think he wore the biggest shoes among cricketers.
However, this misconception of his was cleared after he met the Pakistani giant Mohammad Irfan. Irfan is the tallest cricketer to have ever played the game. He measures a gigantic 7.1 and literally make his teammates look like minions in front him.
In a recent interview with Cricwizz.com, Mustafizur revealed how he was forced to change the opinion on the same. “I once tried his [Mohammad Irfan’s] shoes. Huge size, most probably 15 – nearly half-yard. I thought my shoe size was the biggest. I came to realise how smaller my feet are when I saw his”, said Mustafizur on Pakistan’s giant cricketer Irfan’s shoe size.
