Navjot Singh Sidhu Admitted to Hospital: Navjot Singh Sidhu, former cricketer and current Politican, commentator, TV personality, and former MP of Amritsar was earlier admitted today at Apollo hospital, Delhi due to emergence of some neuro problem due to clotting of blood vessels. The condition was found out to be DVT, though not a serious ailment, but had the potential to be life-threatening The condition, also known as “Deep Vein Thombrosis”, is the formation of blood clots in deep veins. It is generally developed following an accident or following a long recovery which involves not moving a body part for a long time. DVT generally occurs if there is some medical condition that affects blood clots specifically. This could be deadly as excessive blood clots can cause internal rupture. Deep vein thrombosis is a serious condition because blood clots in your veins can break loose, travel through your bloodstream and lodge in your lungs, blocking blood flow (pulmonary embolism).

Sidhu apparently got injured during his recent Kailash Yatra, and has resulted in development of acute DVP. His wife, Navjot Kaur Sidhu, was the one to inform about Sidhu’s condition and his admittance to hospital, and also informing about his current recovery. She commented, ” Life is fragile, handle with care” She is with him on his bedside.

Navjot Singh Sidhu’s twitter handle tweeted the following picture, informing us about his current state of recovery.
