Pakistan pacer Sohail Tanvir has performed brilliantly in the ongoing Pakistan Super League. During the match against Peshawar Zalmi on 6th of March, the bowler returned with a figure of 3 for 14 helping the side winning the game by 19 runs.

However, the bowler has not been able to impress the Pakistan selectors for the national team selection through his performances before the tournament. The bowler while speaking to the media after the game said that not getting selected for the Pakistani side often frustrates him but said that he will continue doing his job with the ball.

He was asked by one of the journalists about his feeling when he gets overlooked by the Pakistani selectors, Tanvir said that he doesn’t like to talk all that media but it does frustrate him. There’s a lot of frustration, it happens. I don’t speak about it in the media but definitely, there’s a lot of frustration,” responded Tanvir.

The 33-year-old bowler mentioned how he has performed all over the world. Tanvir said that he performed well in the recently concluded T10 tournament as well. “You forgot T10; I was the best bowler in T10 that took place recently,” said the bowler.

My aim is to deliver, and that I’ll continue to do: Tanvir

Tanvir said that he doesn’t really have an answer to the question of him being ignored by the selectors but suggested that he will continue doing his job. He mentioned that the authorities will take the call on his performances, as it is not in his hand.

“I don’t know, I have no answer. My aim is to deliver, and that I’ll continue to do,” said Tanvir. “The rest is in the authorities’ hands, whatever they wish to do,” he added.

The batsman said that If he gets another opportunity to represent the Pakistani team, he will be ready for it.
