India lost its semi-final against West Indies at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai by seven wickets. India had made 192/2 with a couple of 40’s from openers Rohit Sharma and Ajinkya Rahane and a brilliant 89* from the one and only Virat Kohli.

India managed to get the wicket of the dangerous Chris Gayle early, but Lendl Simmons and Johnson Charles got stuck in and with a partnership of 97, took the game away from India. Indian trump cards, their spinners proved to be completely ineffective on the surface and Dhoni didn’t have any backup for run leaking Hardik Pandya.

And Andre Russell finished the game with some massive sixes and fours to make 43* to take West Indies to a win with a six. Social media went abuzz with tweets and Facebook shares after India’s exit from the World T20 2016. Some of the tweets were in support of Indian team from the whole country. While some of the tweets from the rest of world were a mixed bag.

One such tweet came from our neighbors Pakistan. Their Minister of State for Privatisation and the Chairman of the Privatisation Commission of Pakistan, Mohammad Zubair tweeted something that was very out of taste.

Zubair who has impressive credentials like an MBA from Institute of Business Administration (IBA) along with a doctorate in political economy from John Hopkins University, has served as the commerce minister of Pakistan from 1996-1997.

Zubair tweeted this immediately after India was eliminated from the World T20 2016, celebrating India’s loss to West Indies.
