Pakistan resumed international cricket in the country with a three-match One Day International series against Zimbabwe from October 30 to November 3 at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium. This was a special series for Pakistan captain Babar Azam as he was captaining the Men in Green for the first time at home.

The Men in Green are now set to host Zimbabwe for a three-match T20I series, starting from November 7. Both the nations will lock horns in three T20I fixtures on November 7, 8, and 10 respectively at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium. Pakistan is soaring high with confidence after clinching the ODI series by 2-1.

It was a comprehensive victory against Men in Red and Pakistan performed well in all three facets of the game. While the hosts won the first game by 26 runs owing to a five-wicket haul by Shaheen Afridi, they registered victory in the second match by 6 wickets on the back of a stunning century by captain Azam to seal the series. Meanwhile, visitors won the third ODI in the Super Over to deny Pakistan a clean sweep.

Shadab Khan feels Imam-ul-Haq is the funniest in the Pakistan team

Ahead of the T20I series, four mainstays of Pakistan’s line-up including the likes of opening batsman Fakhar Zaman, spin-bowling all-rounder Shadab Khan, left-arm seamer Wahab Riaz and pace bowler Haris Rauf were involved in a fun activity as they revealed the name of the player who is the funniest in the national team.

All four players had different options in their minds. While Zaman named fast bowler Imran Khan, Shadab picked opening batsman Imam-ul-Haq. According to Wahab, batter Ahmed Shehzad is the funniest in the team while Rauf went with the young pacer bowler Muhammad Musa.

The players made these revelations in a video uploaded by the official Twitter handle of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB). They tweeted, “Who is the funniest in Pakistan’s dressing room? Watch this video to find out!”

As far as the squad for the T20I series is concerned, the selectors and management have made three prominent changes in their 22-players ODI squad. Three players namely Haris Sohail, Abid Ali and Imam-ul-Haq have been released from the squad. The three batters will not be a part of the T20I squad, and thus they were released from the squad.
