After some excellent bowling efforts in the first T20I, Pakistan sealed the 3-match T20I series with an all-round win in the 2nd T20I at the same venue. Keeping their batting performances in the first game in mind, West Indies asked Pakistan to bat first this time. With contributions from their top order, Pakistan posted 160/4 in their 20 overs. In reply, West Indies ended up with 144/9, falling 16 runs short of Pakistan’s total. Here we look at all the stats and records recorded during the game.

1.894 – Pakistan’s win/loss ratio in T20Is while batting first is the best for any team in this format.

4 – Sarfaraz Ahmed became the 4th Pakistan captain to lead his side to wins in first 3 T20Is. Shoaib Malik, Misbah-ul-Haq and Shahid Afridi are the other three.

4 – Number of Pakistan bowlers with 50+ wickets in T20Is; most for a country so far. Sri Lanka has 3 bowlers with 50+ T20I wickets.

6 – Sarfaraz Ahmed became the 6th keeper-captain to win a man of the match award in T20Is. Kumar Sangakkara, Ashish Bagai, Mushfiqur Rahim, AB de Villiers and Brendon Taylor are the other 5.

25 – Number of times Pakistan won a T20I after posting 150+ while batting first. They posted 150+ on 28 occasions in this format but lost only twice. One ended game ended in a tie.

38 – Number of catches Umar Akmal has taken in T20Is, 3rd most by a fielder. Ross Taylor took 42 catches while AB de Villiers took 40.

50 – Number of matches Marlon Samuels played in T20I format. He became the 4th West Indian to play 50 T20Is.

52 – Wickets taken by Sohail Tanvir in T20Is, he became the 14th player overall to take 50 wickets in T20I cricket.

1505 – Runs scored by Shoaib Malik in T20Is. He became the 3rd Pakistan player to go past 1500 runs in T20I format. Mohammad Hafeez and Umar Akmal are the other two.

2014 – Last time West Indies lost in a T20I bilateral series was vs New Zealand in 2014. Since then, West Indies drew 4 and won 3 series out the 7 they played before this series.
