English journalist Piers Morgan has made it a habit to be in the news these days. Morgan is an ardent cricket follower and no wonder most of his tweets encircle around cricket. The journalist must have never imagined that he will become a familiar name in the cricket fraternity. However, on most occasions, Mr. Morgan has been facing the trolls than compliments on social media.
He has been in a healthy Twitter banter with former Indian cricketer Virender Sehwag for a long time now. Both have been taking digs at one another. At times, it is Sehwag, who has had the major share of laugh and at times, it has been Morgan claiming the bragging rights.
The Brit is known for making grammatical corrections on the tweets that Sehwag posts. In return, the English journalist often ends up facing the heat of the Sehwag fans. Trolls come in flooding for Piers Morgan. In a recent tweet, though, Morgan invited trolls for himself.
He is an outspoken supporter of English discard Kevin Pietersen. Pietersen, who is plying his trade in CSA T20 challenge, sprang up a brilliant knock recently. Playing for the Dolphins, KP scored a brisk 79 off mere 51 balls with 3 fours and 5 towering sixes. Piers Morgan was in all praise for the breathtaking knock. No wonder why he believed that Kevin still has it in him to make the cut in the national side yet again.
He took no time to take to Twitter to express his awe for the South Africa-born English batsman. However, a big blooper from him made him get many trolls. He mentioned that KP was dismissed on 79 but added an asterisk after 79, that indicated being not out. Well, it is utterly confusing to see a batsman being out but still being not out, eh?
Morgan wrote, “OUT! @KP24 departs for 79* off 51 ball incl five 6s. Wonderful innings. He remains available for England selection. #CSAT20.”

He soon found himself amidst many trolls and tweets by the cricket fans. Here are some of the epic replies to his tweet:
