Indian tennis star Sania Mirza is currently married to Pakistani all-round cricketer Shoaib Malik ever since April 12, 2010. The Mumbai-born player was subsequently criticised for pledging troth with someone from the war-stricken neighbouring country. The duo has been active on the social media platforms and hasn’t shied away from speaking about their relationship.

Back in April, it was learned that the couple is expecting its first child. The arrival of her newborn baby has forced her to sideline herself from her favourite sport. She made her debut in 2003 and retired from singles in 2013. She recently mentioned the family has also thought about the name of the baby and she believes that a lot will change in the coming days of her life.

Moreover, she remarked that bringing up the child won’t be a burden by any stretch of the imagination. She also wishes to make a comeback to tennis in the future and also hailed Serena Williams, who recently became a mother, as an inspiration to look up to.

In the meantime, a number of users on the social media have shamed her during pregnancy and the same didn’t go down well with the former World Number 1 doubles player. She took to Twitter and gave a couple of befitting replies to the people, who have tried to demean her.

She wrote, “Word of advice for ppl(specially since the majority seem to be men) who think being pregnant means you have to go into hibernation for 9 months, sit at home and for some reason be ‘ashamed in this haalat’..So when women are pregnant they don’t have a disease or become untouchable-,”

She wrote, “Or become a corpse!!! They are still ‘NORMAL’ human beings and are still allowed to live a normal life!! so pls take your heads out of your a** and think where exactly you came from too..your mother’s womb!! #ittakesallkindstomakethisworld #dumidiots too !!,”
