The Pakistan Super League is getting more and more interesting as it reaches the final stages of the tournament. All the teams are competing hard to stay in the top-four. The Lahore Qalandars registered their third win in the tournament yesterday against the Quetta Gladiators to stay alive in the tournament. However, the Qalandars still find themselves at the bottom of the table while the Gladiators find themselves in the second position.

Also, the PSL has been providing the fans with some great entertainment over the last few games. The match between the Qalandars and the Gladiators was no different. The fans were left bewildered after they witnessed an on-field spat between two players. The take away from this incident is that two players from the same team were involved in an ugly spat leaving everyone perplexed.

Sohail Khan and Yasir Shah make things look ugly with an ugly spat

In the 19th over of the game, the Gladiators required 30 from 9 balls. Sohail Khan who was bowling that over wanted to maneuver the field according to his plans. As he was adjusting the field, a very bizarre incident took place. Yasir Shah who was fielding in the deep point region on the off-side probably didn’t notice Sohail Khan. Sohail got restless with this as Yasir wasn’t moving from his position.

In the process of venting his anger out, Sohail threw the ball at Yasir Shah. Yasir was clearly not amused by this act and looked very disappointed. He also threw the ball back in anger at Sohail Khan. Furthermore, things heated up when these two players started exchanging words with each other.

Skipper Brendon McCullum had to intervene before this got uglier. He was spotted calming them down and bringing things back to normal. Further, McCullum had a quiet word with the bowler and resumed the game proceedings. Although the Qalandars won that match by 17 runs, not many were impressed with the highly unprofessional behavior from the players on the field.
