Rajasthan Royals begins its first three-day camp for Indian players ahead of IPL 2018

Mumbai, February 20, 2018: Rajasthan Royals’ Indian cricketers were seen participating in the three-day camp being organised at the Cricket Club of India’s Brabourne Stadium in Mumbai starting today. The camp will be held from 20th to 22nd of February 2018.
7 Indian players who are part of the Rajasthan Royals’ squad for the upcoming season of the Indian Premier League (IPL) will undergo training in the camp under the watchful eyes of Head of Cricket, Zubin Bharucha.
Over the course of three days, the boys will sweat it out and hone their batting, bowling and fielding skills by playing some practice matches and undergoing some fitness drills. On day one of the camp, the likes of Aryaman Birla, Mahipal Lomror, S Midhun and Jatin Saxena attended the role specification camp from 9:30 am to 4:00 pm.
Indian international cricketer Ajinkya Rahane who has recently returned from India’s tour of South Africa paid a visit to the camp and had an interactive session with the boys. He was seen passing on some tips and tricks to the young brigade. Ranjit Barthakur, Executive Chairman of Rajasthan Royals who had also come to welcome the boys to the camp later sat with Rahane to discuss the plan ahead and shared some words of motivation to the boys. Rajasthan Royals will be conducting three more camps before the season begins.
