Ramiz Raja predicts this South African cricketer to be the best player in PSL 2018

Former Pakistani cricketer Ramiz Raja is hoping for some very exciting brand of cricket to be played in the 2018 edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL). The tournament has managed to become a massive hit for the T20 cricket fans. The first two editions of the tournament have been smash hits. With the finals of the previous edition being played in Lahore, Pakistan, the expectations and the following of the tournament has increased manifold among the fans.

And the 2018 edition of the PSL promises to be a bigger and a better affair than the two previous editions. There is a new franchise that is all set to enter the PSL roster. Multan Sultans will be making their debut in the tournament this year. Also, the number of matches have increased season. Some of the biggest stars of world cricket have signed up for the tournament this year.

Furthermore, all the playoffs matches are scheduled to be played in Pakistan this year. Certainly, the buzz around the tournament is bound to soar higher and higher. The tournament commences on February 22 in Dubai. The first match of the tournament will be played between the defending champions Peshawar Zalmi and PSL latest franchise Multan Sultans.

Ramiz Raja looking forward to PSL 2018

With the tournament a few days away, Ramiz Raja, who will be a part of the commentary panel, has expressed his excitement about the tournament. Also, as per the quotes in brecorder, Ramiz picked one South African player, who he believes will be the best player in the tournament. And that player is JP Duminy.

He conceded that Islamabad United have made a very smart buy in the form of Duminy this season. Duminy will be playing alongside Pakistan former captain and United skipper Misbah ul Haq, Alex Hales, Andre Russell, Shadab Khan, and Luke Ronchi in the tournament this year.

“I believe that Islamabad United’s pick Duminy is pretty good, as he plays outstandingly well against the spin and is tremendous while running between the wicket. He is also a great fielder, who can bowl off spin as well,” Ramiz Raja quoted.
