Afghanistan leggie Rashid Khan has made a big name for himself in the world cricket. The youngster has made some serious progress at the highest level. With his consistent performances, he has managed to become a household name in the T20 leagues across the world. He has become a globetrotter in the T20 leagues and his popularity is only soaring higher with every passing season.

With Rashid playing a plethora of cricket, it comes as no surprise that he has been bonding well with the cricketers of the other nations. Recently, he showed up his brotherly love for an Indian cricketer on the social media. The fans went gaga over the tweet response that he shared.

The storyline dates back to the tweet that young Indian cricketer Rishabh Pant came up with. Rishabh took to Twitter to post a childhood picture. It was a group picture that he shared and asked his fans to find him.

Here is the picture that Rishabh Pant tweeted:

Among the many fans and well-wishers who commented on the tweet identifying Pant was Rashid. He cropped out Rishabh Pant from the pic and shared it as his response to the tweet. He added a caption quoting ‘this is my brother’.

“yahi hai mera Bhai @RishabPant777,” Rashid wrote in his response to Pant’s tweet.

For the facts, Rishabh and Rashid have not played together for any side yet. However, they have faced off against one another in the Indian Premier League. While Rishabh had turned up for the Delhi Daredevils in IPL 2018, Rashid was a marquee player for the Sunrisers Hyderabad.

Commenting on the current run of form of the two players, Rashid is currently plying his trade for Kabul Zwanan in the 2018 edition of the APL. He has been in a decent form with the bat and the ball. On the other hand, Rishabh Pant has had a very successful time in the Indian dressing room. He scored a century in the final Test of the England tour. The wicketkeeper-batsman backed it up with two scores of 92 in the recently concluded Windies series.
