Veteran Indian cricketer Ravichandran Ashwin is likely to make a shift to a new team in the TNCA competition. In the TNCA Division 1 League, the off-spinner is reportedly making a switch for the upcoming season. Over the years, Ashwin has been associated with the Jolly Rovers side in the competition. However, this season, he is expected to make a move to the MRC ‘A’ side.

This move can come after the recent signing of the ace cricketer in the Tamil Nadu Premier League (TNPL) 2018 drafts. He was snapped by the Dindigul Dragons in the auctions drafts. It is worth noting that the Dindigul Dragons and the TNCA Division 1 team MRC ‘A’ are both owned by the same owners, Take Solutions. Hence, it will not be surprising to see Ravichandran Ashwin making a move to MRC ‘A’ as well.

Meanwhile, the reports in Sportstar suggest that other prominent players could also make a move to the MRC ‘A’ side. Leg spinner Murugan Ashwin is one of the those names. M Ashwin has been playing for Grand Slam in the competition in the previous seasons. Also, India A wicketkeeper batsman Bharat Srikar is expected to move out of the Young Stras side to move to MRC ‘A’.

The other moves and transfers

Among the other big moves across the clubs for the TNCA Division 1 competition, young batsman Shahrukh Khan is expected to make a switch from the Jolly Rovers to the Vijay CC. There have also been reports that have suggested that veteran batsman Abhinav Mukund might also leave Vijay CC.

However, Abhinav Mukund has quashed all such reports. He has made it clear that he is not leaving Vijay CC to join MRC ‘A’. “I will stay loyal to Vijay, I am not moving anywhere else. I have been enjoying my time at the club,” Abhinav Mukund quoted recently. The transfers are getting intense as the home season is about to commence.
