Ravichandran Ashwin makes a request to his fans

Ravichandran Ashwin recently bagged the top two honors at the ICC Awards 2016. He has been a top performer in all formats of the game for India. Ashwin ended the year as the number one ranked Test bowler and also as the top-ranked all-rounder in Tests. The kind of form he is in, he is bound to be in the news. Sometimes, he bags the headlines for his impressive show downs. At other times, he makes it to the news for his witty one-liners and digs on the social media.

Ravichandran Ashwin has made it a habit to hit back at critics with apt replies. His fans absolutely love the tweets that Ashwin comes up with. Recently, he had taken digs at his India teammates KL Rahul and Karun Nair that had drawn a lot of attention. The humor content is surely there. Albeit a humor fan, Ashwin does not like it when his fans unnecessarily tag his wife in funny posts.

The off-spinner has now made it a point to request his fans to not do so. In a very friendly tweet, R Ashwin requested his fans not to tag his wife in the funny tweets. He added that his wife has better things to do than just read those funny tweets. However, the witty offie did not miss out on saying that he likes those funny tweets anyway.

Whether it is the bowling crease or the social media, Ashwin makes it a point to pack a punch and be direct in his approach. He can only be hopeful that his fans stick to the word of request that he made.
