Indian speedster Bhuvneshwar Kumar is all set to tie the knot with his fiance Nupur Nagar later this month on November 23. The duo got engaged in the month of October during the series against Australia. The Test series against Sri Lanka is all set to begin on Wednesday (November 16) and it remains to be seen if the bowler would be available for the series. However, there is no official statement from the Indian board regarding his availability and if the reports are true, the announcement is expected to be made soon.

It is also being learnt that the marriage will be held in Meerut and according to reports, the reception will also be held in his hometown in Bulandshahar on November 26. There is another reception scheduled to be held in Delhi on 30th of the same month which will conclude the ceremony. The dates are clearly clashing with the second Test match between India and Sri Lanka which is scheduled on November 24. Though, he might be available for the third and final Test which will commence from December 2.

Rejuvenated Bhuvi

Bhuvneshwar Kumar has become the leader of the bowling attack in the recent past for the Men in Blue. He has become a far better bowler this year and most importantly has improved his death bowling. His swinging abilities at the top coupled with his death bowling has made him the captain’s go-to bowler across the format. In the recently concluded series against New Zealand, Bhuvi bowled magnificently and barring one match in Kanpur, was excellent. He along with Jasprit Bumrah stifled the Kiwis and won games for India.

Moreover, he is improving as the batsman and has played a few crucial knocks lower down the order whenever the top order has failed. During the Sri Lanka tour earlier in August, he also match-winning knock and won the game for the team in the second ODI when India was reeling at 131/7 chasing 230 odd runs. India would be looking at him as an all-rounder for the upcoming World Cup in 2019 in England.
