Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Ramiz Raja is hopeful of conducting positive talks with the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) in the upcoming International Cricket Council (ICC) meeting from April 7 to 10 in Dubai to resume the bilateral series between India and Pakistan. Due to the political issues going on between the countries, there hasn’t been any bilateral series happening between two of cricket’s best rivals India and Pakistan.

However, Ramiz is very much determined about getting things back in place and has already revealed proposing a four-nation annual T20 series involving India, Pakistan, Australia and England. The revenue through the tournament is expected to be huge considering the four teams in the tournament have a huge fan base around the world, and especially the fans will be able to witness more India -Pakistan rivalries which have been taking place in only the ICC tournaments.

India and Pakistan last met in the group stages of the T20 World Cup 2021. The men in green managed to pick up their first-ever victory against India in a World Cup fixture. The game was followed hugely everywhere and the viewership broke a lot of records as well. Such has been the intensity of the India-Pakistan games and no wonder Raja is desperate to bring back the bilateral series between these two sides.

Ramiz Raja to give a briefing to the ICC on the recent successful Australia-Pakistan series: Sources

According to the sources from the Nation, Ramiz Raja is likely to give a briefing to the ICC on the recent successful historic visit of Australia to Pakistan for three Tests, three ODIs and the one-off T20I. Not many countries have been touring Pakistan in the last decade or so after the terrorist attack on the Sri Lankan team bus in 2009, however, the security has improved considerably in the country which is a great sign moving forward for Pakistan.
