The action packed a month and a half of the Indian Premier League boils down to the one final encounter. Rising Pune Supergiant will take on Mumbai Indians for the ultimate glory at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad. They have defeated the neighboring franchise on all the three previous occasions this seasons including the first Qualifier. One last clash between the two teams will decide who snatches the coveted trophy.

It’s the last match of the Pune-based franchise in the league as they won’t take part in the seasons to come. Before the final, Rising Pune Supergiant posted a video on Twitter where the players shared what being in the IPL final means to them. The caption of the video says, “Any final you play, it’s a huge honor” – @danchristian54.  Find out what our #Supergiants had to say about the #IPLfinal” with a new hashtag for the final, #RangWahiJungNayi.

The Man of the Match from the first Qualifier – Washington Sundar, said that it’s the biggest moment of his career so far. “This is the biggest moment of my life as I’m really looking forward to it”, he said.

RPS all-rounder Daniel Christian expressed, “It’s probably one of the biggest moments in my career. But we will take this game just like another game and will try not to get too caught up or being too nervous in the final. Any final you are playing is a big occasion and we are hopeful to clinch this game too.”

It is going to be once heck of a battle as the two sides have been in a terrific form this season. RPS will have the psychological advantage having won the three previous encounters against MI. But the stage of the final will be completely different and the team that holds the nerves better under pressure will emerge as the IPL champions.
