Former India batsman Yuvraj Singh has been making waves in the private T20 leagues. Ever since calling time on his illustrious 18-year career for India, the Punjabi lad played for Toronto Nationals in Global T20 Canada and also captained the side as well. The team won 3 matches out of 6 played and ended up on the third spot with 6 points to their name.

At the moment, the left-hander has also signed up for Maratha Arabians in the upcoming season of the Abu Dhabi T10 league. The 3rd edition of the tournament will see Zaheer Khan also playing for Delhi Bulls. The tournament is slated to begin on 15th November and the final will be played on November 24th, 2019 with all the games being played at the Sheikh Zayed Cricket Stadium, Abu Dhabi.

Yuvraj Singh joins Maratha Arabians; Rohit Sharma makes fun of his picture

Recently, Yuvraj Singh posted a wish on Instagram on his arrival in Abu Dhabi and tagged the owner of the franchise Sohail Khan with a message, “Aala re Aala maratha aala ! @marathaarabians , abu dabhi here I come @sohailkhanofficial”

Rohit Sharma, his Mumbai Indians captain in IPL, was one of the cricketer’s fans to comment on the photo and his word was the most hilarious one for followers of the batsman and said, “Boring”. Fans seemed to get a chuckle out of the comment which has 570 likes on its own. But the final comment which ended any debates on which was the funnier one, Hazel Keech, Yuvraj’s wife posted, “Wow Yuvraj, you’re really good looking. Are you single?”

Meanwhile, for Rohit, things are not so rosy anymore as the Indian team under his leadership lost their first-ever T20I match to Bangladesh on November 3 in Delhi. The Men in Blue had previously won all the 8 encounters between the two sides, but Mushfiqur Rahim’s half-century, couple with some ordinary bowling and fielding from the Indian team handed the visitors an easy win.

The second match of the three-match series will be played on 7th November in Rajkot. However, Cyclone Maha is posing a grave threat to the match.
