Team India started their Champions Trophy 2017 with a massive victory over arch-rivals Pakistan in a rain-interrupted match on Sunday at the Edgbaston Cricket Stadium in Birmingham. Winning by a huge margin of 124 runs meant India now sit at the top of their group table. After delivering the expectations fans had from them, Team India is now enjoying time off the field and rightly so.

Opener Rohit Sharma and Test team vice-captain Ajinkya Rahane introduced fans to the ‘Bahubali’ of the Indian team. While Bahubali may signify a hard-hitting batsman in the team, it is not MS Dhoni or Yuvraj Singh. The Bahubali of Indian Cricket Team is none other than Shikhar Dhawan’s son Zoraver.

Taking to Instagram, Rohit Sharma posted a video which read: ‘Always fun when your with the Bahubali of #TeamIndia.” Dhawan’s love life is quite interesting. His wife Ayesha, an amateur boxer, is 12 years older than him and the Indian batsman had a tough time convincing his parents as they had reservations about the age difference between the two. They got engaged in 2009 and married in 2012. Zarovar is their only child and he seems to have won everyone’s hearts in the team.

India vs Sri Lanka

The Indian players are having a good time, even attending skipper Virat Kohli’s Charity Ball in London. They were expected to train at the London School of Economics ground on Tuesday, but the rain ensured they stayed indoors.

India next plays Sri Lanka on June 8 and will be the favourites in the contest. Sri Lanka is boosted by the return of injured captain Angelo Mathews while stand-in captain Upal Tharanga has been suspended for two matches. If India beat Sri Lanka, they most likely will reserve a berth in the semi-finals of the tournament.
