Rohit Sharma prays for Earthquake shaken Nepal, is happy that India is helping: Indian opener and Mumbai Indians skipper Rohit Sharma said that he is sad by what has happened in Nepal and is praying for all the people affected by the earthquake.

It has turned out to be a real disaster as more than 4000 people have died, with around 7000 still being treated at various hospitals in the country (unconfirmed figures, subject to change) following the tremendous earthquake the country witnessed on Saturday and since then has been experiencing aftershocks and milder quakes.

Rohit said, “What happened in Nepal is really a sad thing. It was an unexpected incident. As doctors and other helping hands have reached Nepal, it is good news and a good feeling that many countries are coming to help Nepal,”

India, being a neighbor and an associate nation has lent the first and strongest hand of support to Nepal while there has been financial and other help flying in from around the world. The Government of India has sent in Disaster management teams and is not only keeping an eye on the rescue missions but also supplying food and other essentials to the affected areas.

The support that India has extended pleases Rohit, “The Indian government has also sent air force and doctors to help Nepal. It feels good that we are trying to help. I wish all people out there get out of this crisis and everything calms down in Nepal,” he said.
