Rohit Sharma and Yuzvendra Chahal‘s camaraderie needs little introduction. Chahal has become a regular in the Indian team just over a year ago but both the players have hit it off and have developed a strong friendship. Time and again, we have witnessed both of them spending times together in team buses, sitting alongside each other in flights and doing other activities that close friends do.

Well, pulling each other’s legs is also an important feature of friendship and neither of the two shy away from this any time. In the latest turn of events, it was Rohit who pulled the legs after his friend uploaded a picture from the fourth ODI against New Zealand along with a motivational quote.

“Think big, believe big, act big, and the results will be big..!!,” Chahal wrote on the picture he posted along with Kuldeep Yadav.

In the picture, the leg-spinner could be seen standing with his bat along with Kuldeep on the pitch. Chahal has not stopped talking about his batting ever since he managed to top-score in the fourth ODI against New Zealand. While the other Indian batsmen struggled to get going, Chahal managed to score 18 in the calamitous batting show.

In fact, it was his knock and the 25-run stand with Kuldeep that helped India recover from 40 for 7 and post 92. Little surprises then that the tail-ender just cannot get enough of talking about his batting.

Here’s the post:

But Rohit Sharma sensed an opportunity and did not wait long to troll his younger teammate. The opening batsman replied – “How about ironing your uniform.” Impressed with Rohit’s sense of humour, Chahal responded by saying, “And my big brother trying to troll me hmm nice try bhaiya you improved little bit keep up.”

Chahal for number three

After the fifth ODI, both Rohit Sharma and Chahal were involved in banter too. After the game, Rohit had appeared on Chahal TV and the leg-spinner had asked whether he could bat at any number three in the upcoming T20I series in the absence of Virat Kohli.

Rohit had then jokingly said, “He [Chahal] was our top scorer in the previous match that we lost. But I want you to be the top scorer in a match which go on to win. I will speak to Ravi Bhai for your promotion to No.3 in the T20s.”
