It is not only the balls that go missing from the stadium, Two cricket bats and a ball which was kept as a Memorabilia at the Hospitality stand has reportedly been missing from the Chinnaswamy Stadium.

The theft has reportedly happened after the Challengers’ narrow win against the Delhi Daredevils on the 8th of April. The organisers further suspect that it could be someone who is familiar with the arrangements of the Stand as well as the entire stadium.

“Just to create a memorable atmosphere at the stadium, RCB’s home ground, the memorabilia was put up. The articles narrated the 10-year-long journey of RCB in IPL tournaments. They were kept at P-Corporate area on the fourth floor of the stadium. Fibreglass boxes were mounted on the walls to hold these items – which allowed their display but also kept them safe,” said an important source from the Karnataka State Cricket Association (KSCA) after the loss of the valuables.

The organisers were getting the stadium prepared for the Challengers next home against the Mumbai Indians before they spotted that three boxes were missing from the wall where they were kept. The CCTV footages have not given them a concrete evidence of the thieves, and the hunt for the thief has started by the officials.

They further believed that the culprit is well aware of the stadium blueprint and also about the value of the articles that went missing. The stands usually are locked and well protected, the theft did not happen on the day of the match but after two days from the match.

The Challengers have been preserving the valuables through its journey in the form of the gears used by their former players such as Rahul Dravid, Yuvraj Singh and their present players such as Virat Kohli, Chris Gayle and Tymal Mills. What is more terrifying for the officials is the ease in which the valuables were stolen from within their eyesight without them getting to know the theft.
